Free Online Masterclass For Cafe Owners

Before They Walk In:

What your cafe looks like to someone who hasn’t been there yet and why some of them never will.

Free · 45-minutes · Online · Wednesday 30 September, 4:00pm (AEST)

Most people have decided about your cafe before they ever taste the coffee. They’ve searched, looked at your photos, read your last five reviews, and tried to work out whether you do the one thing they came looking for. None of it happens in front of you.

Register and you’ll walk away with:
· A clear read on what someone finds when they look your cafe up
· The handful of things worth fixing first, and the ones that matter less than people think
· A way to check your own cafe the same way, any time

We’ll go through two real cafes, live. One that’s got this right, so you can see what you’re aiming at. And one belonging to someone in the room. The search, the listing, the photos, the reviews, the menu – exactly as a customer finds them.

A few honest questions:

My listing is already sorted. Is there anything in this for me?
Probably more than you’d expect. Most cafes that look complete aren’t specific – nothing anywhere says what milks you carry, how you brew, or what you can do for someone who can’t eat gluten. That matters more than it used to, because people don’t search for cafes. They search for the thing they need.

Is this just about Google?
No. It’s about every decision someone makes about your cafe before they get to the door – what they find, what they see, whether it matches, and whether they can work out if you’ve got what they came for. Google is simply where most of it happens.

Do I need to prepare anything?
No. Just have your own Google listing open in another tab while you watch – almost everything that comes up will apply to yours too, and being able to check as we go is the difference between an interesting 45 minutes and a useful one.
